As part of the various welfare activities the Deepa Jyoti Ladies Club at NTECL Vallur in association with the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative distributed dustbins to temples in villages in the vicinity of the plant.

The activity kick-started the campaign aimed to promote a clean and healthy environment. The wheeled, dome-shaped bins which were distributed on 16.09.2023 will ensure a convenient and efficient way to dispose of waste and improve waste management in public spaces.

The committee members of the Deepa Jyoti Club and led by Mrs Krishna Chattopadhyay, President of Deepa Jyoti Club visited the Temples and donated the waste bins to the Temple-Priests.

During the visit, the club members were further involved in advocating for the cause and understanding the requirements towards promoting the Swachhta Campaign.
